Common "do I still qualify if…" cases
…I'm retired or a senior? Yes, age doesn't matter — the income and insurance tests do.
…I'm self-employed? Yes, as long as you filed and meet the income/insurance tests.
…I declined my work benefits? No — having access counts even if you declined it.
…I only have provincial/social-program dental coverage? That doesn't count as private insurance, so you may still qualify.
