Two ways a dentist can take part
Participation is voluntary. A practice can either formally sign up with Sun Life or bill claim-by-claim. Either way they bill Sun Life directly, so you don't pay the covered portion up front.
What to ask when you call

- "Do you bill at the CDCP established fee, or will I owe a difference?"
- "Are you accepting new CDCP patients?"
